How The Flossophy Group collects, uses and protects information through theflossophygroup.com.

1. Who we are

The Flossophy Group LLC (“Flossophy,” “we,” “us” or “our”) operates theflossophygroup.com (the “Site”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through the Site, how we use and share it, and the choices you have.

The Site is for team members, job candidates and dentists interested in partnering with us. It is not intended for patients. Our affiliated practices, Tilden Dental Group and Smiles on Enterprise, operate their own websites and handle patient information under their own privacy notices, including their HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices.

The Site is not intended for anyone under 18 years of age.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Contact form: your name, email address and message.
  • Introduce yourself (application) form: your name, email address, phone number, the role and location you are interested in, your résumé and anything else you choose to share.
  • Emails and other messages you send us, including information about a practice you own if you contact us about a partnership.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the Site, our website platform, Squarespace, automatically collects technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, the site that referred you and the date and time of your visit. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies, described in section 6.

Spam protection

Our forms use Google reCAPTCHA to protect against spam and abuse. reCAPTCHA collects hardware and software information, such as device and application data, and sends it to Google for analysis. Its use is subject to Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

3. Please do not send health information

Please do not submit health information, dental records, insurance details, Social Security numbers or other sensitive personal information through the Site or by email. If you are a patient, please contact your practice directly through its own website or phone number.

4. How we use information

  • To respond to your questions and requests.
  • To review applications, contact candidates and consider you for current or future roles at Flossophy or our affiliated practices.
  • To evaluate and discuss partnership opportunities with dentists and practice owners.
  • To operate, secure, maintain and improve the Site, including understanding how visitors use it.
  • To comply with legal obligations, enforce our terms and protect the rights, property and safety of Flossophy, our practices, our team and others.

5. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only as described here:

  • Service providers that help us run the Site and our business, such as website hosting (Squarespace), email, form processing and spam protection. They may use the information only to provide services to us.
  • Our affiliated practices, when needed to respond to your inquiry or to consider you for a role at a practice.
  • Professional advisers, such as lawyers and accountants, under duties of confidentiality.
  • Legal and safety reasons, when required by law or legal process, or to protect rights, property or safety.
  • Business transactions, such as a merger, financing, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.

6. Cookies and analytics

The Site uses cookies and similar technologies provided by Squarespace. Some are necessary for the Site to work and stay secure. Others help us understand how the Site is used through Squarespace Analytics. You can choose which optional cookies to allow using the cookie banner (“Manage cookies”), and you can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect how the Site works.

We do not currently use advertising pixels or third-party advertising trackers on this Site.

7. Retention

We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purposes described in this policy, including to meet legal, accounting and record-keeping requirements. Application materials are kept for a period consistent with applicable employment laws, and then securely deleted.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission over the internet or of electronic storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your choices and rights

You may ask us to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you, by emailing marketing@theflossophygroup.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and some information may be retained where the law requires or permits it.

Depending on where you live, including California and other states with consumer privacy laws, you may have additional rights. We will honor requests as required by the law that applies to you, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

10. Children

The Site is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

11. Other websites

The Site links to other websites, including our affiliated practices’ websites and LinkedIn. Those websites have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their content or practices.

12. Changes and contact

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be highlighted on the Site.
